Catching up during the "Holy War"

Football has never really been my thing, but when BYU and the University of Utah play each other (also known as the Holy War), you know we have to celebrate that. Andrew is a U fan while I am obviously a loyal alumni of BYU. The fun family rivalry was intensified when we invited a few other family members to the mix. It was a great time watching the game last night, eating a delicious meal, and catching up on all the news.

Here is some of the most interesting news of the night and recent past:

• April and Matt are pregnant with a BOY!!!! (if you don't know, the Macey's have a ton of little girls running around, but only a small handful of boys have been born into the family. Debbie says its because of all the years she prayed to have a few daughters and only bore sons....with the exception of Tiffany). I am so excited for Matt and April :)
• Heidi Macey makes the BEST cinnamon rolls EVER! (but seriously, you should probably stalk her for the recipe)
• U of U beat BYU 20 to 19  :( Sad day.
• Andrew and I bought a new car on Friday! Andrew's car has given us a little bit of grief lately and we decided it was time for an upgrade. We weren't sure how long it would take us to sell his Nissan Altima, so we put the information in the classifieds on Wednesday night and waited to see what would happen. No joke, the next afternoon someone came to test drive it, loved it, and we sold it to him on Friday after work. It worked out so perfectly. Then we decided to drop by the Mazda dealership on the way home. We test drove the car we wanted, haggled the price down some, and decided to go for it. We are now the proud owners of a 2016 red Mazda 6. We love it!
